• routed netmail from a script?

From Dean Lodge@1:220/6 to All on Wed Oct 14 18:25:08 2026
Is there a way to post a routed netmail from a script, without a logged-in user? MUTIL PostTextFiles ignores file#_addr on a netmail base (destination
ends up 0:0/0), and putting name@addr in file#_to doesn't set the destination either. Is there a command-line way to run the MX text-file post menu command, or an MPL approach that works from cron?

This should be easy enough to create with AI! Just use the jam message area file prefix and let AI write a netmail with command line options including
file to send, to, from, subject, destination and origin address!

Hm. I don't know how to be more clear. Don't use mystic to do this, write
your own (or have AI Vibe code one) utility for this! I created postit32 for ele to post files into message areas, but didn't enable it for netmail and it uses message area numbers instead of the jam path and filename prefix, so it wouldn't work for mystic any way.
